
Hawaiian History Month.
Meleanna Aluli Meyer is a founding member of the ‘Onipa‘a–Hawai‘i Pono‘ī Coalition, which has spearheaded the celebration of Hawaiian History Month since 2006.
In 2020, the annual celebration of Queen Lili‘uokalani expanded into a month-long observance, amplifying awareness of Hawaiian history and culture. Meyer has played a key role in this initiative, serving as a moderator and contributing to digital and televised presentations from 2020 to 2024, fostering education and engagement with Hawai‘i’s rich heritage.
